Supplier Operations Manager

Supplier Operations, a department of Sourcing & Supply Chain Operations, represents ASML’s logistics interface to its supply base and is responsible for material availability for ASML’s factories and fields. In today’s complex multi-tier supply chains, this is only possible by creating full transparency in the chains and flexibility at suppliers.

The department must handle the increased complexity of ASML’s systems while reducing the cost of ownership for customers. To do this, Sourcing &Supply Chain Operations work with suppliers to continuously reduce cycle time for components, modules and assemblies, increasing supply chain flexibility and creating customer value.

Your team enables material availability from their suppliers at the right quality and cost for their customers.
You will drive timely execution of the Requestion to Pay process flawlessly and contribute to ASML’s supplier performance.

Alongside driving the activities of your team you will work closely together with the other managers of SO to actively contribute and further develop their Supplier Operations department roadmap and participate in structural improvement projects further optimizing their processes.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for managing a team with young professionals and driving people and process performance and development and securing continuous service for internal and external customers (eg factories, suppliers, Sourcing &Supply Chain sectors, Customer Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain planning, Product Life-Cycle Management, sourcing leads, category managers, Logistic Supplier Management and Quality Supplier Management)
• You will act on an operational and tactical level in management teams of the Sourcing &Supply Chain Management department and drive goals in line with the Sourcing & Supply Chain vision
• You will coordinate and manage operational annual plans
• You will build and maintain a network of in- and external stakeholders/partners and represent the organization
• You will evaluate organizational design for your functional discipline, (work)processes and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements
• You coach and continuously develop employees

Education
MSc degree + Bsc degree with relevant experience is required

Experience

• 6-10 years relevant experience in a complex supplier oriented environment
• Knowledge as well as a proven track record of ERP systems preferable SAP, Ariba.
• People management and previous procurement or supply chain management experience is a must
• Excellent social and communication skills and demonstrated ability to coach and develop employees
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvements methodology

• Being self-employed, initiative, proactive attitude, goal-oriented, flexible
• Out of the box thinking and change management skills are essential.
• You will need a strong personality that is both flexible on some occasions and firm on others.
• Excellent professional communication in English and Dutch is preferred
